For our subsidiary in Italy, we have a vacancy for a Crop Specialist for Tomato.
Managing a products life cycle
As a Crop Specialist your main responsibilities are:
– managing a products life cycle;
– collaborating in defining crop budgets;
– collaborating in defining marketing objectives and strategies by taking care of their implementation and management;
– supporting sales representatives technically before and after sales;
– carrying out market analyses.
You will act these activities independently, but in close contact with the team of Rijk Zwaan Italy. You will be in close contact internally (office staff, sales representatives, etc.) and externally (customers, traders, etc.).
The whole Italian territory
We are looking for an entrepreneurial person with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agriculture, preferably with experience in this role and in the professional vegetable-seeds sector. You have good social skills, sense of responsibility, customer oriented skills and you are a team worker.
A good knowledge of informatics and knowledge of the English language, is a fundamental requirement in carrying out this role. This role requires constant travelling, covering the whole Italian territory, as well as some short trips abroad.
The candidate will be offered an immediate placement within the company as well as a job classification level and salary commensurate with proven skills and expertise.
